About this AEC data server

This server gives you a lot of useful examples of 2D and 3D models of products for civile engeneering, architects and project engeneering in different CAD systems. This server was made by SOFTconsult s.r.o., helped by many external collegues. Content of the server is divided into three parts:

• List of data sources for project engeneering (internet and CD-ROM).
• Really sizable database of modells (2D a 3D) and texturas of real products incl. infos about these products, ready for download.
• General part, disscussing data formates and data exchange in CAD systems used in civile engeneering a designership.

02C technology allows you view 3D objects of ArCon (ACO and O2C files) directly within the web site.

Data models of real products are authorized by its producers.

There are following formates ready for downloading on this server :

• 2D models:
  • DWG (AutoCAD R14)
  • SYM (SPIRIT)
• bitmaps:
  • Windows BMP
  • JPEG
  • GIF

All models in server database are ready to be downloaded by means of some these formates, but the models are not allways available in all formates.

In the list of internet and CD- ROM data sources we are focused on following formates:

The right for using of the data downloaded from this internet server (http://www.aec-data.com), is accepted by the user in the moment of downloading the data. There is no payment required for using the files; the only one demand is the agreement with this licence contract.

The right for using the data is not transferable. The data files must not be converted, copied or multiplied not even parts of the files, for selling or anny other reasons. This prohibition is ment for the formates and the form either.

Breaking of the licence contract is penalized by $ 2.000,-. The extent of the damage is considered by the owner of the licence, SOFTconsult spol. s r. o. If the user will by breaking the contract cause a financial loss to the owner the loss will be exact by means of law trial.

The user may make an unlimited number of copies (either in hardcopy or electronic form) provided that such copies shall be used only for internal purposes and are not republished or distributed to any third party.

The autor of these data files and the owner of the licence, the SOFTconsult spol. s r. o., is not responsible for any damage or loss in anny extent and form, caused by using this data.

Licence contract is in full extent transfered for such copies.
